Default Road King Windshield Glare

Hey guys does anyone know how to get rid of the glare from you gauge cluster from the inside of your windshield?

I ride home from work at night and I can see ok, but I know if I can eliminate it I would be able to see much better!

Thanks in advance!

You're going get a ton of advice on this particular problem. I'll cut to the chase and then give you an option.

Cut down your current screen or buy one that's well below your line of sight. I ride a Road King and do a fair amount of night riding. That said, I was never a windshield guy either so my solution may be too drastic for you.

In that case, have a look at a product called a Glare Stomper for GPSs. It's basically a nylon shield that's fitted with velcro. I used it around the front of the speedo at night and just kept it in my saddlebag. There was of course the strip of velcro on the front of the speedo housing but frankly I'm a function over form guy.

All that contact paper and the rest of it just doesn't work.

HD has speedo visors for the older models but list none for the newer models.Had one on my 2005 RK and it eliminated glare into windscreen at night.Might try some aftermarket vendors to see if they offer a visor for the newer models.
