well this happened to me on 9-14-14 at 8 pm after 48 years of riding. deer ran right into my left handgrip as i was doing 50 mph on a two lane. damn thing came right at me from the side. i stabbed the brakes but nowhere to go. knocked me and the bike off the roadway. the bike did endo's and i hit a cut off sign post removing my left leg above the knee. way to many deer in this state now days. i'm a deer hunter for years and you really had to hunt for them years ago, but now you have to chase the damn things out of your yard. i bought a trike 10 months after i got out of the hosptial and i'm riding again. it is was it is, but don't ever think for a moment it can't happen to you. be carefull out there my friends.

Fak! That must have been an oh boy moment.

Stay loose, don't tighten up.

Check back in and let us know your progress, you and bike.

Glad to hear you're ok man; I wish I were that lucky. On my way home from work some bimbo pulled out in front of me and I went for a ride over the bars. The medics tell me the bikes a total...

Sorry to hear that. What were the details? What kind of road was it? 2 lane? Were you in the woods or farmland? Were the shoulders mowed or weeds? Were you able to brake before impact? Did you stay upright , or go down?

Thanks for your fire service. My son is a volunteer fireman. I know it's a lot of work.

Deer and bimbos scare the **** outta me. Glad you're in one piece; heal up and get back on it!
