So I figured wtf I will buy the stuff get the manual.
A bro or two and a 18 pack.
Have them give me a hand with the project.
Well when I ask them how much was parts alone
And I would do the labor myself.

Depends on which parts, ABS or not, which cables, gaskets, etc. I've seen bars up to $800, and brake lines and clutch cables between $300-400, plus gaskets, and add wire extensions and connectors, new TGS or extension kit. It all adds up.

Way too much, IMHO. And the RK is much easier process to install apes on (less steps, anyway) than a Streetglide, for example.

You can get a nice set of bars, extensions, etc., as a kit for under $600. It took me 4 hours to do my Streetglide--and this was my first faired Harley that I mounted Apes on. Most of the trouble was fishing the cables through the bars...
