Default Under Fairing FM/CB Atenna

Is there a Under Fairing FM/CB Antenna that actually works well?

It would depend totally on the signal strength of stations in your area.

Some say they work great, other say they don't.

Too many variables to say how it will work for you in your area.

Of course the area signal strength is a concern how about the CB combo antennas. I may need to ask this the audio forum.

I have both. The radio works fine up to 50 or 60 miles out but I am in reasonably flat country with a strong signal. The CB works OK in a group where I want it to work but doesn't go out more than a few miles at best.

Are you using the J&M also?

Actually I have an Ultra Limited that I bought off the floor with a removable tour pack. The dealer installed an HD hidden antenna which I kept. I installed the J&M CB antenna myself. I think I will revise my statement about CB distance in that the only time I have used it is in a group ride without the tour pack where from front to back it wasn't more than a mile which worked well. The longer distance came with the tour pack hooked up which made the tour pack wip active.

This ! However, when all is said and done, the OE whip works best. Especially in the mountains.
