Dealer Prep Fees ?? High?

Freight is on the invoice, so the dealer has to pay that in order to get the bike. Its part of the cost of the bike. Despite what some people say, you're going to pay it whether its included in the sale price or listed separately.
Prep amounts to putting on the handlebars, checking fluids, and cleaning the bike at most dealerships. Maybe a $100 cost to the dealer, so I'd say $750 is way too high. Its just additional profit.
A Doc Fee of $500 & Filing Fee of $100 is a lot of money to pay someone to punch some info into a computer. Its just additional profit.
All that being said, if the sale price is low enough, you may still be getting a decent deal even with all these after charges.
Example: A $20000 sale price, plus all these charges & fees is a better deal than a $21900 sale price with no additional charges & fees.
So, if you're going to shop around, compare everything, not just the charges & fees.

Ridiculous!! Find another dealer!
Shop around
As stated, you always pay the freight one way or another.
My dealer:
Bike ordered (they didn't have and couldn't get the color I wanted from another dealer)
2k off msrp
No set up fees
1k and 5k service included
Doc fee was $125 I believe ($75 for the title and $50 for plate transfer and paperwork
Plus my bike arrived in January, they delivered it to my house (40 miles round trip no charge) in a closed trailer and picked up my trade.
All depends on how greedy the dealer wants to be.

I think I paid $50 doc fee, no prep. As said, freight is what it is. I also got 2k or so off list on my '15 Limited Low.
OTOH while shopping I saw prep at @ $1250 at one dealer

That dealer prep is BS for what they have to do. Same goes for the doc fee's. I do realize there is some exposure there for the dealer and they have the right to charge for it but when you are talking 750 for prep and 500 for doc fee's that is just nuts. I told them that when I bought mine and asked them to explain the fee's to me in detail. The result was a 200 prep and 50 doc fee.

You might try finding another dealer or just simply refuse to pay most of those ripoff add-ons during purchasing negotiations. They're desperate to get the '16's off the floor right now before the '17's start rolling in.
Worked for me this time last year.
Good luck.
