Morning gents! Hope everyone is having a good Saturday morning.

Buddy of mine called me the other to do a trip with him that I have been wanting to do for sometime. Got all the approvalsame ( work and home) and I'm off! But since this being my first major trip ( more than 2k miles) please any tips! Taking the bike to shop now for a safety inspection.

The advice on what to do to get ready is really good, lots of useful threads around if you do some research.

Having said that, a lot of folks seem to forget; relax and concentrate on enjoying the ride! All that other stuff isn't as important, and most of it will take care of itself; or at least they will give you some good memories and stories to tell!

 

Take your time and enjoy the ride.

 

Just curious, how long do you expect to be gone and are you camping or staying in motels?

 

Yeah I've been thinking packing light. And collect shirts on the way! No issues on the bike so need for tools but tire kit. And have roadside assistance
