Electra Glo Saddle Bag lights (any good?)
Have the CD fillerz's - been thinking of the Electra Glo Saddle Bag lights - did a search - found several posts talking about 'connector behind the saddle bag, problems' So, now in latter part of 2016 - has HD fixed that or has anyone had any issues with the connector or comments on the saddle bag lights. For me I can never have too much light in the rear, lol

My '14 Limited that I bought last month came with them. No issues or potential for issues that I can see. They are great, they really add visibility especially when braking/turning. I ride with a few other Rushmore Limiteds and after being behind them, the turn signals on the tour pack lights aren't the most visible in broad daylight.

Mine are over a year old, and I like them. They really make you visible. Two suggestions:
1. I used a label maker and created a label inside each saddlebag that reads "Unplug saddlebag lights!" with an arrow pointing toward the connectors. Even though I installed them myself, I forget to unplug them once in a while.
2. Coat the connections with dielectric grease. Keeps 'em clean for good contact. I've heard that poor connections have caused a few of them to malfunction until they were cleaned up and greased up.
