Default Passing lamps only with high beams.

I have turned my passing lamps over for better lighting in corners. I'm wondering if the dealer can program them to only come on with the high beam headlights.

Yep. It's a simple programming adjustment to the ECM. Should be free or a minimal charge...

The default setting is only coming on with the low beams. I had mine reprogrammed to stay on all the time. I've not heard of anyone having them set to only come on with the high beams.

Mine are programmed to stay on with the high beams.

So they can be off.
On with Low Beams.
On with high Beams.

That gives you all three options.

Yours were programmed to turn off with the low beams but on with the high beams?

Nope ..... Either on all the time, high/low or, low only. Tech II does not have the ability to set "high only."

So have the flash done to allow the driving lights to be on with the High beams. That is the mod- factory default, or override it to allow with hi beams.
Push the little button the turn them on and off whenever you like.
Problem Solved

No.

They can be off, no passing lights on.

They can be on with Low Beams.

They can be on with high Beams.(This is the change that you want the dealer to do to your bike.)

That gives you all three options.

You're correct, my mistake as I misread the OP. Thanks for the clarification.

Actually yea you can have it set to on with high beam only. I had my buddy at harley set it that way on mine because my fog lights are to bright to be on with the low beam.
