What are your thoughts?

thanks for your opinions.

Before you go crazy buy some black tape and tape up parts on the bike that you might think you want blacked out. Sit back and look at it for a day or so to see if that is the direction you want to go. Also, if you can find a local powder coater, have your chrome parts blacked out instead of buying black replacements.
I think a Red bike with black contrast accents would look great and I "use to" think chrome all the way. Nothing wrong with chrome but I've been converted, mine is more of the contrast/black parts instead of straight black.

Good luck!
Jace

Good suggestion

That bike looks really well done and has such a finished look to it. Nice taste!

It's your bike, go with what you like - mine tells you I'm not a blacked out fan..

Grab a couple cans of plasti dip and go to town. It will give you these look to see if you like it, it's cheap and peels off of you don't let it. Did a lot of parts in my bike and they still look great 3 years later. Doesn't work on parts that get real hot though, but will let you see what it will look like. So easy to apply, remove, etc...

I prefer chrome over blacked out so I say no, but that just my personal preference. It really comes down to your taste and what you envision with your bike.
I have seen many blacked out bikes that were great looking some were red.
