I like a mix of black and chrome and contrast cut parts. I'm running into 50 Shades of Black Syndrome. Gloss black, black anodized and of course Denim black. Ordered some forks powder coated satin black, so I'm holding off on doing my engine and bag guards and going to try to match them with the satin powder coat. Not even Henry Ford knew there were so many shades of black!

I think the "dark side" thread should be for blacked out bikes and the "dark side" thread should be changed to the "car tire side"

Color match the cowbells and chrome the lowers. Looks great. I'm doing the mix of both. I color matched my cowbells. Chrome bars. Left my controls black.

Nice! Mine will be black with some chrome accents. Mostly done...just a few more pieces to powdercoat.

I have a Vivid black SGS that I am mixing black and chrome to balance and highlight. I've gone black with the crash bar, ceramic/flat black on exhaust except for chrome tips, black removable sissy bar, and may black a couple more things.
I like the mix but in the end it's all about personal taste. Good luck and have fun.

My Fuel Moto Jackpot mufflers were not available in black. Anyone had their mufflers ceramic powder coated gloss black?

kblhd, I did my factory mufflers in Duplicolor high temp black with ceramic in it. Don't know yet how it will hold up but figured it was worth a shot for the 6.99 a can it cost me!

$6.99 sounds rather reasonable if it was for both.
