Default Battery Charging?

Messing around installing and testing a new amp and speakers I've managed to drain my battery. What is the best way to charge the factory battery?

Use a 2 amp battery tender, but if it's completely dead....a 10 amp automatic would be ideal

You got a 15 so you have a built in charger connection, should be on your left side down by your saddlebag. Might still be coiled up under your left side cover if your dealer never pulled it down. I'm partial to the Schumacher line of chargers. My current one I use is the Schumacher SP3. Great for both my RV and boat deep cycles as well as the bikes. Here's the one i use: https://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-SP.../dp/B00752TRP0

I agree with the Schumacher chargers and tenders. I use the same one as you, and feel the 3amp tenders work much better on keeping the battery healthy.

First winter with the bike coupled with being a dumb *** was the problem. Seems my Battery Tender Plus doesn't properly plug into the MOCO charging plug. Guess they want me to buy a MOCO product. Charger is now working properly when I connected it to the battery...

Thanks for the help...

I have the CTEK MUS 4.3 with the tender adapter. It's an 8 step battery charger/reconditioner. Very simple to use, effective and affordable. http://smartercharger.com/
