I sure wish I lived in the south like you. Then I could take it out for a ride and try it out. In the meantime I have to deal with snow and -40 and worse temps for awhile yet.

We had some bad weather but I have been able to ride 7 out of 14 days this year. It was 71 degrees here yesterday and just five days ago it was 8 degrees!
The new AM/FM harness finally came in so I installed it and the rear speaker harness today. All that is left is to get the bike flashed to configure the rear speakers.
It was a nice day today so I pulled it outside for a couple of pictures after I finished installing the harnesses. First time it has been outside since Oct.
Looks Great: I'm doing the same thing to my SGS. I have a question about the rear speaker harness. Did you use the two that came with the speaker pod kit? One with spade connection to speakers & the longer one to the radio? Is it obvious where the one to the radio connects? Thank you for any info!
Yes the long one goes to the radio. In my case I have an amp so it went to the harness off of the amp to plug 313. For a radio I think it goes to 162. Either way Harley recommends you do not plug in the speakers until it has been flashed for the setup. There are some setups that will blow something if it is not flashed first. I have mine all hooked up but have not plugged the speakers in at the rear until I can get it in the shop to be flashed.
Nice job! I'm slowly doing the same thing. Question, how do you get those jack nuts started in the speaker pods? I didn't have a tool, so I just through bolted them for now.
