You will need to purchase the XM module and that comes with the antenna and mount. It gets mounted on the bracket inside the fairing.

That is where I mount my antenna and it works as good as the XM in my chevy truck. I am very happy with the radio and XM performance.

The 4.3 Infotainment system does not have the slot in the back of the radio for the XM Module, however there is a way to use an external XM radio with the 4.3 Infotainment system, this is what I had to do to get XM on my old 14 FLHX with the 4.3 Radio.
Harley-Davidson AUDIO JACK JUMPER 69200610 $31.00
For folks looking to add a auxiliary input to their 4.3 or 6.5 system to use a Garmin or XM audio device it is a relatively simple process. I purchased the HD part number 69200610 jumper and removed the 3 wires from the Molex connector. Be sure to record what pin number they are and color. You will find a 12 pin Molex connector on top of the radio unit that goes from the CB to the main radio unit. In that connector on the CB side you will see 4 spaces in the plug that are not being used. Take the Molex connector apart from the front. Remove the white blanks. insert the wire sockets into the same number holes you removed them from previously. They are white, red, black. Hole numbers 6,7,8.
Take bike to your dealer to connect to Digital Tech. Under the radio tab you will see Audio inputs. Choose Aux input 3 and name it what ever you like. You will see at the top of the DT screen an option to turn CB on or Off. Do not choose ON. That will take the CB out of system. Only tell them to turn the Audio 3 input on. Flash radio and reboot radio. You will see on your radio under "Media" your newly named input. it will work with any Garmin or XM audio device you have and functions and mutes just like the rest of the system. I hope this helps those of us who had questions about this subject.

Same here, next to the mail slot. Used a small round file to file out a groove in the inner fairing for the wire to pass through, no squeezing it between the windscreen and the fairing. Works great and looks fine.
