Bert's Black Widow in Port Charlotte goes back and forth for the number 1 spot in Florida with Space Coast. Each year they try and out do each other in sales. He also took over the Tampa dealership and renamed it Berts Barracuda. They have pretty good sales on bikes and parts.

 

get some prices from them if possible. so we can compare. Maybe worth he trip from texas.

 

I have bought 3 bikes over the past 4 years from them. I haven't been to a dealer yet with this amount of inventory. They are good people to deal with definitely worth checking out. Berts Black Widow HD is nice and the owner is a great guy down to earth. My next bike I will probably go over there.

 

The OP mentioned Space Coast as the #1 dealer in sales and that their sister store, Seminole in Sanford, is in the top five. And of course you mentioned Black Widow in your post above. Is there a website that lists the top selling dealers? I'd be interested to know how some of the other dealers in FL, or the US for that matter, do in sales comparisons.

 

Just rode over to Berts Black Widow in Port Charlotte last Friday.Impressive Dealer ,but Space Coast has much more inventory out on the floor to choose from.

 

Not sure of website, but last HOG chapter meeting Bert explained Harley notifies the owners of the dealerships how they did each year.

I've been there a few times when visiting Palm Bay (where my father lives)..
The first time I was in there I was amazed at how many bikes were in there.

 

What is that #1 rating based on? Number of unsold bikes, customer service, shop service, personnel, square feet of showroom floor - what?

 

Same thing I was wondering, whats the rating based on? Don't care really, no dog in the fight. Does Number 1 mean you get the best deal. Is it based on profit, for HD not sure, have been to Space Coast and they have bikes sitting everywhere. More trikes than I have ever seen in one place at the same time. Never bought from them. Bought 2 from Black Widow in Port Charlotte as said great deals there. Talk to Ralph.....hes the OCD guy running around like his hair is on fire. Good dude though. In fact all the folks their go out of their way to help.
