Everyone should download the newest available Boom Owners Manual as features change and are added with the software updates.

I just installed the CVO software on my trike and I'm convinced the music sounds better. I do have the basic Boom audio with amp. I did have one surprise and that was when I hit "go home". This is the first update where I needed to enter the address. All other updates retained that information.

Date does not mean much. They have likely been testing it awhile. I downloaded it last night. This morning installed it wit no issues. Messed with the radio and nav a bit. Everything seems to work as it should. I am not too concerned about install new updates , if for some reason it has issues I can always just put the previous version back in.
So many people using this system in so many ways it is a wonder we don't have updates everyday. So many of the fixes likely on effect a small number of users.

A new thread really isn't necessary. Just go back to post #1 and just substitute the newest update for the previous because it always seems to be the same sh*t. I recognize the BoomAudio is designed to do many functions, but it is unbelievable to me that for every step forward there appears to be another step backward. I also recognize that many guys/gals are completely happy with their systems and that their updates have been flawless [or so they think or have deluded themselves into believing].
