Heated Gear
#21
Another idea if you have not looked into it yet, mobile gear. I have a vest and gloves which I can charge up and use anywhere so you don't have to be plugged in on the bike. Pricing is about the same.
Check out the warming store. I have had very good service from them.
Not that it ever gets cold in AZ but there have been times when it was in the low 30's heading to work. When I was younger I was tougher. Now I'm older and not so tough. Plus I have the money to buy the gear.
For some of our trips it is nice.

I had to do a 120 trip on Monday on the e-way no less, at 75mph on a 38F sunny day. Only thing that I had heated was my grips, a heated seat would have been nice but I thru on my sheep skin cover and worked fine.
I had on a tee shirt, flannel shirt and my snowmobile jacket. Insulated blue jeans with my chaps over them, 1/2 helmet with a balavaca that I also use snowmobiling and my everyday boots. I was warm as toast. So really, do you need all this heated nonsense?
