I'll probably get some backlash on this, but anyone who does not get at least 15 or 16K on OEM Dunlops is doing something wrong, period! Personally, I have never gotten less than 20K.
...more than I wanted. The stock Dunlops on the front of the TriGlide sucked. They tracked minor road imperfections, and broke loose in fast turns. I replaced the front when it was still at about 50% with a Michelin Commander II and it's a huge improvement.

I believe most people under-inflate their tires. I got 20K out of the OEM Dunlops. Now running Mich Comm II's inflated to 41psi f/r. I've never got less than 20K out of any set of touring tires.

Reason: typo - corrected to 41 psi

Road conditions and how you ride your bike differs. I wait until cords are showing. YMMV I replaced at 10K rear. I have 15k on the front but might last another 2. Avg. speed of 85mph.
