Check your rear floorboard mounting bolts
I was removing the passenger floorboards on my 2014 Road King today. The top bolts on each side must have been installed by an 800 pound gorilla. But the bottom bolts on each side were barely finger tight. The left side lower bolt just about fell out in my hand. So check your lower mounting bolts for the passenger floorboards!

It is not a bad practice to check all of your fasteners.
Both of the front engine mounting bolts were loose on my '14.
That is the reason I do my own servicing, should have never left the dealer's shop, let alone the factory, with "critical" fasteners not being checked.
Things were better for the most part on the 14 than in the past, however. I was able to get the oil filter off at 1k without having to punch a couple of screwdrivers through the bottom, which I have had to do on numerous occasions (I have bent screwdrivers at the 1k service in the past doing this. Not a filter wrench made that would have taken that one off). And the Derby cover screws came out like they were actually tq'd to spec.

Did no one read what I wrote above or look at their service Manuals? The bottom bolt Is 47 IN LB, the top is 36 FT LB. They are supposed to be as you guys have found them.
