I use the Turtle Wax Ice line up, love that stuff. I also use Plexus as my in between washes on everything. Soft cotton towels, never paper towels!

I put on my wife's bikini & heels when washing my bikes, so the stuff I use to keep them clean must work, cause everyone has to stop and stare at the Harleys.

It may not be totally necessary, but I can see and feel a difference when I do even after using a quick detailer spray. It literally takes me about 10 minutes to wax it...seems like quick and cheap insurance to me.

I totally agree. This is my third black bike and you will not remove boot scuff marks or fine scratches with quick detailers. I use Captain Richard's Best 90% of the time, but I also wax the bike a few times a year to make it look like new. Bugs and bird crap comes off much easier after it's waxed also.

I have been using Meguiars for a long time and have not found anything better. I just ordered another gallon form Meguiars Direct. Great stuff.

Turtle wax from Wal-Mart. Each wash I wax. Simple, works. Most waxes are coming off after a wash or two anyway.
