dealer scheduled maintenance plan

Get your money back. Your dealer has no clue as to what they are doing other than ripping you off.
Read your manual....1000 complete fluid change. Not 2500. Then again much later and not 5000 miles. Then a 3rd time @ 7500?
The tranny and primary call for every 10K after the initial 1000 mile change.
The dealer has played you for a fool. Don't be a fool.

Funny....you comment every time. So...you have commented 400 times on my 400 posts. Seems like you can't help yourself and not able to move on?
If it bothers you SO much....why post a reply EVERY time?

Car dealership also charge a fee for shop supplies very common . I bet if you bring your car in for work look at the bottom line you will see a charge . Some dealerships use a flat fee some charge the fee based on what the total bill is a percentage of how much you spent .
If you don't ask they don't tell some will remove the fee and some won't .

The issue is the first 5 services were PRE PAID. It should have been included at that time.
It's not about the $$. It's the principle of the matter!

I found out its better to bill, then do a fee. I found the fee was too low once I started better tracking. So now the customer gets an invoice listing what shop supplies were used, they pay more but there is no discussion ( I still throw in a few things, but that's my choice)

first of all you should probably watch who you are calling a fool, I have been a auto tech for over 27 years and can pull this bike down to the bare frame and rebuild everything in it.
I have had numerous 9sec drag cars and a 9 sec ZX14 that I did all the mechanical builds on.
the only reason I have the prepaid is I got it real cheap and even when it runs out, I will change out the oil every 2500 miles myself oil is cheap.
Hell I changed the oil in my drag toys after every night at the track.
I run my stuff hard all the time. I see shifts above 5k an a normal basis,
but you go right ahead and leave that oil in there for 10k or whatever you deem good.
And by the way the owners manual calls for a complete service at 1k which they did and an oil change at every 5k but like I said as hard as I beat this thing I would never go that long.

Sorry...no auto tech pays for oil changes.
And....and auto tech should know Jiffy Lube started the 3 month 3,000 mile oil change interval for fools.
If your such a handy wonder why are you paying someone to unscrew, drain, screw and refill?
What's the difference between a service and an oil change? Re-read your original post....the numbers and your claims don't add up. Not even close.
Good luck

I bought the first 5 scheduled maintenance plans (oil changes) from my dealer when I bought my bike.
My friend also bought the same plan. I've used it twice with no problems.
My friend had his 2500 mile service done today and called me and said the dealer was charging him $6.50 for shop supplies. wtf? I would not have paid it but he did.
Anyone else being scammed by their stealership?
