New grips on a limited, how difficult?

Limited's heated grips go through the handlebars,so You will have to pull handlebars at least, and fairing because they plug in below radio.I would talk to parts department to see what can fit.I would think that the CVO grips would fit.
Too much work for Me.I will wait till they are worn before considering change.

I don't think you would have to remove the handlebars, but you will need to pull the wiring out of them from under the fairing. The throttle side plugs in to the TBW unit, It's the black and white wire everyone asked about that don't have heated grips and find it when changing bars. I thought of changing grips but $250 for new heated grips and the amount of labor involved just doesn't make it worth the effort for me.
