Default Accessory power behind left cover

How do you get it to work?...there is no switch and the manual is lacking in information.

I have to ask, are you sure that isn't the battery tender port?

Two items under the left side cover: one is the harness to connect a Battery Tender. The other is an 8-way accessory connector. You buy a pigtail for $25 and plug it in. It goes to a 4 wire connector like used to live under the seat. There is now only 3 circuits - ground, 12v Battery, and 12V ignition. There is no wire for an accessory switch as in the past.

What jt wrote is correct, but there is a lot more you can do with that 8-way connector. It is pre-wired to the underside of your dash panel where you can install switch clusters that will enable additional pins of your 8 pin connector, from there you can ad sockets to the accessory harness that jt spoke of and activate relays, lights, seat heater, garage door opener or what have you.
The service manual has the schematics that show which wire from your dash panel goes to which switch pack.

Use this to determine your needs.. Hope this helps. The CVO limited has switches on both sides and this is where I found the part numbers.. Kutter Online will save you a ton of money, not the web site that this parts break down is from.

Excellent information.
I am referring to the 8 way connector.
