Default Hate the warning on the radio

I just was wondering if there is any way to turn that off on our radios. Its annoying to have to always hit accept.

No there is not a way to turn it off, I've looked and searched since last August, even the dealer said they can't turn it off.

Thank our tendecy to sue over everything for that little pleasure. The GPS on my Avalon has a similar dire warning every time I use it, too.

Software update I did on my Dodge Nitro a few years ago fixed the warning message. Now it only stays on for about 10-12 seconds and goes away. Wish the Street Glide would do the same.

It wouldnt bother me nearly as much if I could "accept" it as soon as it shows up. As is, I have to wait 10 or 15 seconds before I can clear the message. Pretty dumb.

You can thank the Tort Lawyers and the Federal Government for that issue. They didn't mind sending me thousands of miles away to duck bombs and bullets several times but seem to be concerned about my safety that I may use the GPS or adjust my radio while enjoying riding. Go Figure.

Like always, it is all about liability! MOCO knew that once they put that new screen (6.5") with all the bells and whistles, that without a disclaimer/warning, they would be sued because some nut would be watching his screen and then crash! I tried to find a way to disable it (software) and it is hard coded to the radio to prevent removal. It is what it is.

So it's up for a few seconds... then a quick push of the right thumb clears it...

I reckon I don't see the big deal about it.
