A Little Advice on Installing Daymaker LED Headlight with Wiring Harness
I am installing my Daymaker LED Headlight on my 2014 SG and have a question. I am a little confused when it comes to the LED Wiring Harness I had to buy & I'm scared to death to make a mistake. I disconnected the stock bulbs. Am I then to cut those wires on the bike and connect them to the Wiring Harness? The directions aren't doing it for me. I have attached 3 photos of what I am assuming needs to be done. Cut the stock wires, connect them to the wiring harness (although I am not too sure on how to do that), then it's just a plug and play. Thanks for any recommendations or advice! So sorry if I sound like an idiot here.

I just realized from another thread what I didn't do. I didn't follow the stock harness all the way back to the box which was easy to disassemble then assemble the new wiring harness. My only question now is on another thread someone with the same question as me put
"Thanks for all the suggestions. I took the headlight off again to see if I missed something and sure enough I didn't know there was a jumper cable that need to come off. "
Does anyone know what "Jumper Cable" he is referring to? Thanks again for the replies!

Do I need to follow those wires and disconnect that harness. But if I do then what harness do I run back to the light. Please help

do you have the replacement wire harness kit, Harley #69200897?
this is about 7" long, one one end there is a connector with 3 contacts for the Daymaker headlamp, at the other end is a connector shaped like this (- - - -) looking face on.
you need to remove the stock wiring harness which is the same length (7"), it starts at the hi/low head lamp connectors and extends backwards to another (- - - -) connector, and is secured there with a plastic do-dad up top in the recess (at least on a street glide).
the replacement harness plugs in where the old one went.
