Default Flashing ABS light

When I start up my SGS, the ABS light flashes. It seems like it flashes for about a minute then goes off. Is this normal?

My SGS does the same. Never timed it but it seems to stop when I put it in gear.

ABS isn't active until over 20 miles per, this is normal. Asked my dealer the same thing when I bought my bike.

It should go off once you are above 3 mph. If it stays on continuously it means the ABS is not functioning. I wondered the same thing and had to break out the manual pg46.

Didn't break out the manual but noticed that once I started moving it went out. Just figured it was normal. Glad someone confirmed.

Read that baby cover to cover!

I noticed in another thread of yours someone told you to set your rear shocks to 30 psi or something like that. However on the Street Glide Specials you do not have air shocks. You have the HD Premium Ride shocks that are adjustable with a **** that is behind the left saddlebag.

Enjoy that new bike!
