I put the 577 on my 2014 FLHTK, I wanted the stainless brake and clutch lines so I replaced them. Here is the parts I used:
From Harley
37200040 HYD CLUTCH LINE,DIAMONDBACK,76.50IN
41800321 BRAKELINE,UPPER MID,ABS 12mm Bore 64” to Puzzle box
41800425 BRAKELINE,UPR,FL,DIAMONDBACK,28.0X0DEG 10Mm Bore
NAMZ Handlebar Extension Harness +12 in. - NHCXJ12
Everything went nicely but the brake line was about 5-6 inches too long.
I know there is a few posts around that did not change the hyd. lines just re-routed them
Hope this helps

I wanted the stainless on mine, so I did not try to use the stock lines.
Here is a thread about doing it with stock lines:

Also, one other thing I have not seen discussed is that I had to grind a little off the the slots where the handlebars go on the switch cover. The stock opening did not want to take the extra width of the chubby's. It worked with out grinding, but was a lot easier to put the switch plate back with it enlarged.
And I did NOT need to take my bike in and have the ABS bled, just bled the master cylinder and at the ABS manifold.

I just installed the 578s on my Limited with no issues at all, but did need the 4" wire extensions and did have to relocate the clutch hyd line, can't imagine it's long enough to do 577s just by relocating it. I have installed two sets of 577s on street glides, that's a whole different animal. You will need longer wires and hyd lines for the clutch and brakes I'd think, I know I had to use longer ones on my other swaps. If the bike is ABS, you have a whole other issue bleeding ABS brakes, I would not do that myself. Much much more involved install that 578s which use pretty much all the OEM stuff and two simple plug in extensions. If you have any questions about installing 578s, let me know. Sounds like you have issues with the TBW wires.

Just in Case:
If you have the 6.5 infotainment you can get the DTC code from it by
1.) pressing and holding the radio power button
2.) Turn the switch to run
3.) Release the radio power button
4.) press the accept button on screen
5.) Select the Display DTC codes from the menu
Also, you can check all of the handlebar switches in the Component Menu (Off memory so could be wrong). It does not show the TBW
Let us know how it goes.
Oh, yea: Go Army
