Default How do I get the Boom 6.5 update to work?

I have downloaded the 6.5 update but I am not sure how to transfer it to a USB thumb drive correctly. It keeps telling me no audio files available. It says to copy the file within the zipped folder to the root directory of a USB flash drive. I have copied it to the USB flash drive but it won't work. I don't know how to get it to the root directory. Any help would be appreciated.

Follow the link below for instructions on how to open Windows Explorer and then copy following the instructions on the page where you downloaded the update from. You can use the built-in zip utility within Windows to extract the file to the USB drive.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...ndows-explorer

Hope that helps

The "root directory" is what you see when you open the drive in windows explorer. It just means to copy the file from the zip directly to the flash drive, without making or putting it into any folders.

Why don't you just use a Mac. Double click on the icon to unzip it, drag the unzipped file to the thumb drive icon, remove thumb drive and plug into motorcycle. It should be that simple.

Contacted HP and took about 45 mins. to get it figured out. Put in the bike and it worked. Will probably have to call them again when the next update comes out. Thanks to everyone who helped.
