Default Stage 1 Download ?

Was wondering if you don't mind sharing the cost of the Stage 1 download . Would be great to compare prices from different areas . Plus I'm looking into doing it . Sorry I needed to edit this just wanted to know what your local dealer was charging just for the software download

So many different possible costs involved.
a-type of tuner
b-complete exhaust or just slip ons
c-what A/C unit you chose
d-dyno'd or nnot.
Generally speaking your looking at over a 1500.00 if you do header/slipons/AC & tuner and doing it right. IMHO

Can't help with prices, but here's a good explanation of what you're looking at...

Buy a tuner.
Buy headers, slip ons, and AC.

No need to deal with a dealer. Your costs depend on what you buy.

Generally the dealer gets around $150.00 for the download. In my opinion ( and we all know what opinions are ) you are wasting your money by purchasing the download. You can be sure that you're going to change, tweak or make modifications as you go on and in doing so will need to remap/adjust your settings. There are several "tuners" on the market but I would highly recommend a Power Vision from Fuel Moto. It retains the oxygen sensors ( narrow band ) and can be used to do/view many different facets of your scooter. It can/will also be set to make "automatic adjustments" ... Hope this helps.
One more thing. If you're going to have serious performance works done to your scooter I suggest you talk to whoever you've decided to make those changes and see what tuner they're comfortable with.

This can be a tricky answer just like with an oil thread. But Uncle Larry in his first sentence is spot on. I've heard anywhere from $100-$150 and I've also heard more people say waste of money.
My thoughts in life are cheap is expensive.
