Default Tires

I have 15k on my bike and need a new front tire already, wondering how other bikes are doing. Is their a better tire that will give more miles but still handel good
350 for tire at HD is over the top.

Can't say my front tire is doing that. But I would recommend the Michelin Commander II for your next set of tires. Shop around for the best prices.

I've got 12k and there is no noticeable wear on the front. rear looks like it will do 18k at least.

I changed both front & rear tires at 19500. They still had a little more tread left to go but I had some long weekend rides coming up. Didn't what to chance doing a few hundred miles in the rain with tires that had a lot of wear on them.

I got 27700 out of My 2012 Dunlop tire.I ride solo and weigh 160. I put on Michelin Commander ll front and rear and loved them. They really feel like they grab the road. Not the hard feel of the Dunlops. They say they will double the mileage of comparable tires.

I can only find 2 tires that are the same size for the 2014 19" front - the stock Dunlop and the Dunlop american elite. I called Michelin. They do not make the commander II for the 2014. Anyone know of anything else?
