Default Fp3 installed today

Installed a fuel Moto stage 1 air cleaner, fp3 today. V&H tech support said their high output slipons were a close match to my RC exhaust slipons with my 3 inch baffles. Flashed ECM with stock head pipe, high output slipons, and set throttle progressivity to moderate setting. Wow! Woke up the bike! Much improved throttle response, a little more power felt on the butt dyno. But best of all, didn't seem to run as hot anymore. And it was a hot 90 degree Florida day here today. Very satisfied the way she runs now. Programming the map was pretty simple on my IPhone 5. Hats off to Vance & Hines for their Fuel pack 3. I'm impressed.

What is the advantage of setting the throttle progressivity to moderate? Does it shorten up the twist? or just shoots more gas in? What I should ask is what does changing the TP actually do? I know they also have the normal or aggressive setting. Thanks in advanced I will be installing mine in couple of days, I am just trying to find all info I can.

In a nut shell... the throttle response is quicker. If you open the app and look at the FAQ at the bottom it explains everything.

The FP3 keeps impressing me every time someone with it post! I really like the user friendly interface and the features they put in this product. Kinda got me wanting to switch from my SEPST to the FP3! I would have went with this product if it was available when I did my stage one. Sounds like it's working great for you!

Nope. Just flash your map and remove.

If you want to auto tune ,you leave it hooked up till you finish the tune. Also if you want to look at live data ( engine temp, rpm ) there are a few others I can't remember off hand.

I am very happy with it. The bike is running great.

Vance & Hines website has a good video you can watch on how the throttle progressivity works and the different settings. Go to their website, scroll to the bottom and click on videos. They explain it real good. Hope this helps answer your question.
