I've searched here and Google but can not find a how-to guide to installing apes (Vindikta) on a '14. I ordered a service manual but my dealer forgot to place the order so I'm looking at 7-10 days still and need to get started! Mostly need advice on getting the inner fairing off to get the risers bolts. I did my '10 dyna but had the service manual to guide me. TBW has me a tad concerned too.

Here's an excellent photo writeup of the process. It's for a set of 8" bars but the process is the same. I strongly advise you use this along with your service manual (yes that means wait). There are several things during the install (or even tear apart) that you will need to refer to the service manual for.

I just tore mine apart today as I should have my wire extensions, new grips, and SE TBW delivered tomorrow to finish the install job.
