Default 2015 Road Glide

Went out to National Bikers Roundup in Oklahoma and up to Strugis. Had a chance to see and ride the new Road Glide. As it stands right now it's only air cooled. But talking to the HD rep in Strugis all he could say was stay tuned.....

Cool picture. Anything notable about the ride?

The bars are a little closer to the rider. The ride itself I felt is better than my SG. The vents on the side of the lights are huge. Enough to where a small sparrow could shot up through but they serve the purpose they were meant. It's still a reach to get to the radio. Really like what they did with the lights, super bright and looks more like LED's. Overall not bad. They had a another on there with the 6.5 screen but it was going out on a test ride. Both were air cooled but like I said the HD rep said stay tuned. Guessing they are coming out with more RG models.

I saw them in Sturgis as well. They really look great. I was hoping that they would have a Ultra model. I got the same stay tuned answer when I asked.

Yea they can't say much about what they are going to do. I really liked the deep red on that was up on the stand.

I see that the clamp mount on the bars for the brake and clutch reservoir is different than on my 14 SG.

The bars being back a little more is a good thing, less reach, hunch, lower back issues.

I guess i'll sit on one when they get em and see what the bars are like.

I kind of think i am into the SGS for the long term but a little less reach would be more comfortable. RG does look nice.

Does the RG have a cubby hole on both sides or the fairing for storage? I know the right side is where the USB connection is but does the left side have a functional storage?

To be honest I didn't check but I would assume it would if it was like that on the older models. I can't see them taking it away.
