Did the 1.18.1 Update wipe out your Maps in Navigation if you have Nav software 9.10.14.306105

This seems to be the catalyst with the maps not displaying in Navigation (only the arrow or bike icon on a blank screen). Post if this is your scenario.

Oh - good idea to start a new thread. The other one was getting buried. I just posted this on the other thread but better to keep everything here:
I just got off the phone with Harley. I talked to a guy who talked to the "guru" who was working with the tech people. I reported that Nav Software 9.10.306105 does not seem to work with 1.18.1 but that people with 9.10.297212 seem to be OK. It sounded like these were the right people to talk to and they might be able to troubleshoot it and come up with a fix. Until then I wouldn't bother going to the dealer with this - they're not going to be able to do anything we haven't done I don't think.

 

For the record, I have Nav Software 9.10.14.372863 and the update went well.

Can the dealership load 9.10.297212 and then complete the upgrade to 1.18.1

 

I asked the guy on the phone if there was any way to update the navigation software but didn't get much of an answer. I have an open issue with a reference number with them so I'll follow up in a couple days if I don't hear anything. I don't expect a quick fix here but who knows?

 

Updated my 2014 FKHTK last night with the iso only file lost all my maps said I'm done. Went to crystal river fl Harley this morning they reflashed and updated and all is good,said just bring it to them for the updates sounds good to me.Also tech said my bike was several updates behind and I just got it in June.

 

Hmm, maybe the dealers can do something. Can you check your navigation software version now?
