Good answer! I live (some of the time) in Southern Ocean County, which, if you ask people in Atlantic/Cape May/Cumberland County/Salem County is "North Jersey", but work in Somerset County, which most people feel is "Central Jersey". Mercer/Camden/Glouchester Counties count as "West Jersey". Middlesex/Monmouth/Burlington Counties are "Central Jersey".

I used to work in Northern Essex County, and people in Bergen and Passaic County would call and tell me Essex County was in "South Jersey"! So Go Figure!

Whatever! Ride Safe!

The way I always got it was the Raritan Bridge was the line between North and Central, anything down past Forked River was South Jersey. After several "spirited" debates in my shop. The Raritan bridge is also the between "Taylor Ham" (north of bridge) or "Pork Roll" (anything south of bridge) but that only comes up at least 3 times a month and can get ugly

I'm right around Asbury and ride out toward New Hope frequently and follow the river out through PA. Some nice sweeping routes if you catch the traffic (lack thereof) right.
