NO, I haven't heard that one yet. I'm sure they have a pretty big monthly nut to pay for that monsterous building they just built...

Still waiting for confirmation. I did hear that a few weeks ago they had laid off quite a few employees but didn't hear they were closing for sure.

I had spoken with the folks at Legends and they said that H-D cut back on the amount of new bikes in their allocation and that simply left them unable to pay the mortgage on their new 3 mil building.

Kosco I think the family owned Rt 15 Powersports which they did close but the H-D dealership seems strong. They are VERY involved people and I think they are trying to do the right thing by being very attentive to their business and how they are perceived in the biking community.

They also have a new building to support but their family may have more resources and less beholden to the banks - I don't know. I am dismayed that if H-D has cut back on bikes and reduced allocations while forcing dealers to build buildings to meet H-D's marketing strategy, then they are directly responsible for these closings.

Also getting tired of MADE IN CHINA on their clothing but that's another thread!

I was up at Kosco the other day and it seemed like there were only a couple of people working. That huge service area had 1 tech that i could see and another person at the parts counter. If you have any gift cert.`s for them you might want to take a ride over and buy something.

Was in Kosco twice in the past two weeks. They did cut down the hours for some of the staff but that's it. I even asked one of the staff I am close with, and it was verified they are NOT closing.
