Fellow CT riders, trying to get a snow depth update. I live in Waterbury. The snow is patchy and still up to several inches deep. Temps are going up with rain. Hopefully enough to clean the roads. This Wednesday and Thursday are forecast to be sunny near 60. Hope for the first ride of the season.

absolutely zelch on the shoreline, increasing snow piles as you head north. To be totally snow free head south then east............no snow in them areas.

Connecticut has first fatality of the season. A 19 year old passing in a no passing zone , rode head on into a pickup truck in Southington.

I have about 1/2 a tank of stabilized gas. Leaving Waterbury about noon, backway through Middlebury and Woodbury, then Rt109 to 202 to 341 to Rt7. That ought to get it close to empty. Fill up in Kent or Canaan. Then Rt44 to Rt8 and home.

What is with the weather. I cut my grass 3 days ago and it is already a foot tall. My bike has been parked in the garage. Our riding season is already short enough. Rain rain go away.
