Was out for a ride after work last night and stopped for dinner at Wood's Pit BBQ and was reminded once again just how good the food is there. A mite chilly on the ride home after dark, but well worth it.

the very unique thing about the wood pit is they also have a Mexican menu an it is also very good !

Eve, I'm in! We can meet at the Hess on 52 and ride from there for anyone coming from the west around 9:30ish is you want.

I was going to suggest Wood's too, but it might be a bit early for Lunch? That's one of our favorite stops. There's also a pizza place on the left just before the turn for Wood's that caters to bikers...can't remember the name.

I think you are talking about Bohemian pizza in litchfield on rt 202

A stop at The Brass Horse in Barkhamsted might be fun. It's about a half-hour ride from Wood's in Bantam. They usually have a band on Sundays starting at 3; no cover. I stopped by yesterday for a bit.
