What's the problem w Rider had 'em since mid 70's I think.
Only liability though, never full coverage.

i had them for the first year i rode. their prices are great till you realize you have the state minimum for liability coverage. when you bump the coverage up to normal levels their pricing was not so great.

i also had a friend have not so good luck getting them to pay up when the time came for that.

so i switched to a more reliable carrier at that point.

i would have gone back with foremost but they were expensive this time around. so i did sign up with progressive.

I've had Harley Insurance (Progressive) for the past 6 years. They will probably come in a little bit high on your first year - BUT - every year after that they have gotten cheaper with each renewal. I run an 09 Road King with $250,000 / $100,000 liability, NJ's full $500,000 personal uninsured, collision and $3,000 worth of mods and pay $351 a year! Of course I have a PRISTINE driving record, which never hurts!

I use State Farm. I have all my other insurance through them, so I felt it was easier just to stay within one insurance company. Rate was better than Rider because of all of the line discounts I get.
