Default Rommel HD Warranty Experience ?

It appears as though my 2014 Street Bob is going to be trailered to Rommel to fix whatever is wrong with it I have a thread in the dyna thread over the issues im having as of late. The short of it something is eating the batteries or not charging while riding(2 batteries in 6 months). The first battery happened the day I bought it it was dead when they tried to fire it up before i took it. The second left me stranded in Ocean City and had to be towed back to my shop. My question is has anyone dealt with them for warranty work ? I have a tuner and exhaust and am curious do i need to uninstall all this to avoid headache or are they pretty understanding to modifications. For the record bike was bought brand new in May with 0 miles. The issue was clearly there when i bought it as this is my second battery and the tuner has only been on bike from 1500 miles to 3300 miles where it died. Please if you have had an experience with Rommel doing warranty work describe your service. Thank You

Generally speaking, any dealer can refuse to cover any bike with any modification. While I have not had any experience with Rommel, (and never will), I do find they are very money hungry and would probably just as soon not honor your warranty. Magnuson/Moss not with standing.

I can't imagine they will treat your warranty work any different than non warr work. They surely want to have you satisfied with a fixed bike and they'll get paid by HD for parts and labor.

Your issue has nothing to so with your mods. I'm certain that they'll support Harleys warranty. (Its Harley's warranty, not Rommel's.)

I don't believe you have anything to be worried about. Don't know the dealership but MoCo pays for warranty work and the dealerships love that $$.

My issues weren't as serious but I have the prepaid maintenance with Rommel and have had no issues. They actually just fixed an issue for me this past week. You should be fine.
