Posting, as I want to follow this thread. Our focus is the Cabot Trail. Have joined the MC Tour Guide for Atlantic Provinces.

Have already booked ferries, and arrival/departure hotels.

Still have many questions. But, for those in the region, how loud can pipes be ? I run stock. But, we have all sorts of varied set-up's. Probably including one with straight pipes.

I'm in New Brunswick, not Nova Scotia but I think the loud pipes would be quite OK, as long as you aren't roaring around hospitals and subdivisions at 2:00 AM. Common sense applies. Its about being a nuisance, not the noise per se. You do need a helmet, bout it.

I run slipons with no baffles and just TTI's to preserve torque and lower the tone,, never an issue.
