HDF members in CT

RE: HDF members in CT
Hey XL - I know what you mean...there are few in here. Like most things in CT, unless you know where to look, it feels pretty empty (or lame)...but once you figure it out...great.
I was just minding my own business heading out for a ride (alone, of course once again) down the shore...passed through Branford on RT 1...looked to my right and HOLY S**T...there were something like 1,000 bikes (no kidding) in three parking lots, tents, etc. Turned out to be an annual charity ride put on by the Red Knights to support child burn victims. I paid my $20, hung around and rode 50 miles (2 hours, though!)...though it was more than a touch tiring as THAT many bikes, even with the State Patrol escort, was not entirely relaxing...especially given the guys I ended-up in and around (rubber banders, if ya know what I mean)...but it's tough for all different riding styles to do perfectly together...I've been in a LOT worse.
Anyway...I just found www.ctbikersguide.com they seem to do a decent list of events, etc.
Later,
SG

What good stealers are there (btw...) ?
What good stealers are there (btw...) ?
I like most of the dealerships in Ct, but would use only a couple for service.

So far, I've found TSI in Ellington CT to be a really responsive dealership. I had a few issues with my bike when I first got it, they responded quickly, and even took care of a few things I hadn't brought up! (Rear calipers needed reworking) Presently I'm taking the Rider's course through them as well, and again, it's been good so far! I have yet to get over to Gengras, but I can tell you, it's a friendly rivalry between those two up in the neck of the state!
Hope to hear back more from the other CT riders here! Who knows.. may even meet up on a ride of some form!
