I don't care much about riding east either.

 

Not to high jack this thread but we are heading down to Front Royal early October. Thinking of riding through FR on Skyline dr and staying at Skyland Resort then just heading south on SKyline dr. Any advise on lodging , food or roads or is our plan sound ok ?

You will have a great ride that time of year. Not hot not cold just right and very pretty. The parkway is where your HD will shine and be in its' element, not speeding. Watch for deer and watch for smokies....as in law enforcement. You won't go wrong no matter where you stop, people are friendly and helpful in this area.

 

I got the chance to ride with Rick (GinsengSullivan) yesterday. Had a great time chasing him through southern MD just over the WV border.

It's been too long man! I'll ride this coming weekend for sure. There's a trip to Greensburg PA on Rt. 30 I wanted to take but it's a hefty ride. I'll give details later on.

 

Enjoyed a long ride through WV, MD and PA with Frank (Apexlocator), Bobby, and Vince. Great time at the HD demo ride. Thanks again Frank for the invite!
