some good PA roads

This might make a nice ride:
Go to Pt. Jervis, take Rt 97 as if you were heading to Hawk's Nest, but instead take a right turn onto Rt. 42.
Take 42 N into Monticello, BUT
Where road turns right onto Broadway (to go into town), instead take a left which will take you to 17b.
Take 17b west through White Lake, watch on right for Hurd Rd. Sign may say "Bethel Woods Center". That's the original Woodstock Music Festival site. There's a museum there you might enjoy.
Go back down Hurd Rd, turn left and head back towards White Lake, BUT
Just before town take a right on Rt. 55 south.
Follow 55 south down through Eldred to Barryville and Rt. 97.
Take a left onto 97 - nice ride along the Delaware River, over the Hawk's Nest, and back to Pt. Jervis...

Have to go a few hours west, for the best PA riding. The best riding in PA is the western half of the state. Take 6 all the way over to 219. Then 219 down to 120, and 120 back to Lock Haven. Also, things to stop & see --- PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua Bridge State Park, Kinzua Dam, Benezette PA, Hyner View.

If I had time this weekend, my wife and I would have met up with you.
Enjoy your ride, watch for deer, even if it's day time.

If you don't have that much time, then just jump on rt6 and head west. You could take 15 south into Lewisburg. Then take rt11, you can stop at Bandits Road house for some food. From there, you can jump back on I80, if you short on time. If you have more time, take RT11 to 93 south and that will take you to 209. Go North and you'll be back in Dingmans Ferry or Milford.
