Anybody planning on riding out to the plant for the open house? I think I'm going to head out there Friday morning from the Levittown area.

Never been there before, might be kind of cool to check out.

 

I'm thinking about going. If you do make it, plan on several hours at the two assembly lines. It is very interesting and there is usually a vendor area in town. Lots of stuff and certainly worth checking it out. The facility is called, The Expo Center. Here's a link.

Heading over early in the morning. If you were never in the plant it's worth it for a free tour. There having demo's also. Think I might take a low rider for a scoot.

 

FYI, there are several local dealers from the surrounding area set up at the factory with merchandise for sale and demo rides in addition to the plant tour. There is a parade of bikes through down town at 6:00 with a lot of festivities going until 10:00 then the crowd goes out to The Hop on Rt. 30 to finish partying.

If youre still up for more there is an awesome AC/DC tribute band at Fat Daddys on the east side of town. They come on at 11:30.

Additionally, the is a seperate event known as White Rose Thunder going on at the fairgrounds which has flat track racing on Saturday and Sunday as well as vendors and bands.

 

Awesome, thanks for the info guys. I'm headed up there tomorrow morning at 8 with a buddy from the around here. Going to take the turnpike until Morgantown, then take 23 over to 30... If there's any better rides around there, let me know!
