I'm not sure what you mean by "for his unfortunate accident"
Police said Lane's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when he crossed a double yellow line to pass several cars near Melbourne Beach, striking Sebastian Inlet park ranger Gerald Morelock's motorcycle head-on.

well it was either unfortunate like I said or fortunate you decide Fat Boy
UNfortunate that someone had to die in that manner. I've driven while intoxicated in my younger days and was very fortunate. Don't make those stupid mistakes anymore. You drive drunk you get whats coming to you then accidents happen, or you get caught.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, a cigarette in one hand, a cold beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride"" Unknown

I guess it was more unfortunate for Gerald Morelock and his family, than it was for Billy Lane is my opinion. I wasn't sure if you were sticking up for a drunk driver. It just hit a nerve with me.
My family has had lots of drug and alcohol problems to deal with. Don’t get me wrong, I can and do enjoy a cocktail or beer. But I don’t drive if I have been partaking. I have no compassion for any drunk driver that kills someone. No matter how famous or cool they are.
