Default Who Has The Fastest Street Ride

I'm looking for a streetable ride not a drag bike that can make a lap around the block. Of course it has to be a HD or similar V-Twin, running on pump gas and capable of an all day ride. I'm building what I hope will be a low 9 sec ride, and I'm referring to 1/4 mile ET's when I say fast, ie: 10 sec, 9 sec, etc...

So what's your best ET?

Kered,
what draws you to a HD forum if you don't own one? Seems to me you would find some metric forum to discuss experiences closer to your ride. I'm not saying I'm against you being here by any means just curious why someone would be attracted to a forum for HDs with out owning one.

I've seen new '08 Busa's on showroom floors going for a little less than 9K...those things stock will do just under 200 MPH...throw some $$ at it, and you're at "death wish" numbers...if you want an H-D or similar bike to outperform one of those, or any number of other sport bikes, you're dreamin'...

Streetable sub 10 second twin that you can ride around all day, can't wait to see who has the answers to this.

Man, I'm no expert on these things, and not a big fan of VRods to start...but I wouldn't think a Rod is gonna do what the OP is looking for...I think the avg HP for one of those is about 120 HP at the CRANK, and you're gonna lose a lot of that getting to the rear wheel...

I saw the VRXSE Destroyer (which definitely ain't street rideable) at a dealer around here...
even with the stroked SE engine, it only put out about 165 HP, again at the crank...

How is even a beefed up streetable Rod gonna run against a stock Busa (which Guinness lists as the fastest PRODUCTION bike in the world, with a Kaw right behind it) let alone one someone's put some $$ into? Put a blower on one of those and you're shovin' way over 200 horses, if I'm not mistaken...and it's still streetable...

It's just apples and oranges...doesn't bother me at all, I'm not into this just to go fast...
