Default We are doing nothing new masters of yesterday

I came across this old picture of my late brother and a buddy of his and i truly believe these guys would have been on one of these bike building shows you see on tv today if they had them then. They were doing some amazing things over forty years ago. look at the size of the tire on this bike this was taken around 1967. check the molded tank a short while back i posted a picture of my brothers knucklehead which was all molded to the frame. makes me feel like im doing nothing just bolting things on like so many others and in the end every thing starts to look the same i love my bike but i am and will never be like these guys were. i tip my hat to these guys of yesterday they never got the credit they were due by today's standardsClick the image to open in full size.

Very nice vintage photo and what a great looking bike! There was a Peanuts episode where Snoopy was riding a big chopper....that bike reminds me of that! Good photo to frame, by the way

Your Bro was one very Talented builder. Cool ride. Looks suspiciously like a car tire to me. Apparently going to the dark side is not a new trend.
