Thumbs up Problems with socks falling down?

This is something that has bothered me since I was a kid. I finally found socks that DO NOT fall down. I wear either pull up or zipper up the side boots and any sock I ever had would fall down, something I find most irritating. A while ago I had a need for a pair of dress socks. Went to Walmart and looking at all they had to offer I found a 2 pack of black Starter brand socks for $5.50. Ya know, no matter what they do not fall down and are over the calf style. Just thought I would share this if anyone was interested.

Get either ankle or no show socks. The only time I don't wear em is when I wearing boots.

Confused the way you worded your response but has been happy hour for a couple hours. If wearing athletic shoes I only wear low cut socks but for riding boots these are the bees knees!!!

I wear boots every day. Fold your frekkin socks over the top of the boot. Problem solved.

Thumbs up

My wife bought a two pack of the over the calf Starter socks a couple of weeks ago and I , like you, really like them. They stay up all day. I told her to get me some more and she came home with some other brand; I didn't even take them out of the bag.
Yea, they are probably geezer socks but I'm just a young geezer in training.

Under Armour stay where you put them too. I've had a couple different style of Wigwam sock, the tight knit ones were great, the looser knit ones would fall down.

Walmart also has Dr Scholl's diabetic socks. My son is diabetic and had some and I tried a pair. Very comfortable and they don't fall down either.

Gee, why didn't I think of that almost 50 years ago???? Comfy and I bet the socks last what, about 3 uses before they are shot? As to the other replies, until I found these socks at $5.50 for a set of 2 I used Thorlo military style socks at about 15 bucks a pair and have about 8 or 9 pairs. Just trying to be helpful but some people are not worth the effort....

JC Penny. Gold Toe socks, over the calf. Sixteen bucks for 4 pair and they never fall down.
