Default Honda's new FB6 Goldwing

If imitation is a form of flattery, I guess Honda is trying to attract some of the Street / Road Glide crowd with their new FB6.

I saw it in the Mag's and it has the same 6 that it always has. If you like leg room an the ability to stretch out forget it. I road tested o e before I got my glide and did not like it.

Looks sharp. I almost went with a Goldwing before I got my EG but don't like the sitting position and not having the ability to stretch the legs out comfortably.

Yep, seating position.

I owned the original 1000cc 4 banger for a couple of years back in '75 and could sit on that bike for hours.

As the motors grew, the legroom shrunk. And if I like my Road Glide over the Electra Glide because of "roominess", the Honda doesn't stand a chance.

It's bike's like that and the EPA that will put water cooled in the next generation big Harley cruisers. Sadly it will probably take Harley 5 years to get it right. Remember when Yamaha outboard forced OMC to go oil injection. Not 100% but I think it put them under. However think someone may have come along and bailed them out or did like the Indian or Triumph re-badge.

Biggest problem is, it's a Honda... Therefore, the riding experience is lacking...

looks like half way between a wing and a valkyre , had 3 wings and the leg room got to me to , not bad on the road when you can streach out but around town was to cramped up , don't even compare to my Ultra
