Default Anybody see the Royal Pioneer on American Pickers?

Ok this is not about American Pickers but rather the Royal Pioneer they found. I had to google it to find out that the AMA museum says only 3 exist. I searched the forums as I thought someone might have posted but wondering what would you do with one of only 3 maybe four now motorcycles. Granted its in pretty bad shape, mostly pieces but hey they have one!

Thanks for posting! I saw the episode and was curious to what it would look like when it was restored. Thanks again.

I saw it also - I think they agreed on $55k - will probably take another 10-15k to restore back to original.

I would love to watch that guy Mike knows restore it. I think he called them "corn cob idiots" or something like that when they called him to ask about the price.

There wasn't much left of the bike, I was surprised at how excited he got over the muffler.

I thought it was 50K?

I could have walked away and never looked back. It's a pisser that someone let that go that far down. It really looked like it was found at sea.

he ended up giving him 55, it was pretty beat up, but even replicating seat, leather, some parts etc.. if it's only 4 and one sold for 92 a few years back. they may be looking at 100, 115 if they got it it's a good investment

Yeah, saw that one. Pretty amazing. Easily an amazing find and one heck of a good price. They got lucky.
